Audrey's Preschool Graduation-June 19th

Audrey graduated from Miss Diane's preschool this year. Hooray!!! After three years in preschool she finally gets to start Kindergarten in the fall. Miss Diane was such an awesome teacher and did such an amazing job with Audrey. Audrey is definitely ready to start this year. She knows all her letters and the sounds they make. Along with Maddy, Drew and Gavin, my mom, Krystal, Dan, Ally and Cole all came to support her. Andrew missed it because he was out of town. It was a cute program with all the kids performing the songs they had learned that year.
I video taped it and so Madison took the pictures for me. So Madison thinks she is the next Wendy. She took so many pictures that day. I counted and there were 80 shots from just that 30 minute graduation. HELLO!!! Thanks for the help Maddy. Here are some of the shots that she got.
Each year they learn some songs. The first year with Miss Diane, Audrey didn't even sing once. The second year was a little better but this year she knew all the words and totally sang it. She is so dang cute. Here is her group of preschool friends singing their hearts out.
Well Audrey doesn't look like she is singing, but she was.
Audrey was so proud of her diploma.
Audrey and me.
Audrey and Miss Diane. Audrey is sure going to miss you.

Last Day of 2nd Grade-June 13th

Madison was in the second grade this year and she was lucky enough to have these two wonderful teachers. I just loved them both. Mrs. MacRae is on the left and Mrs. Albertoni is on the right. They had a theme for the year...surfing through the second grade. It was so cute how everything was about surfing. They made learning fun and I really appreciate all they did for Maddy. She was a awesome student. She is such a great reader and got all A's which are really 5's on her report card. We are so proud of her. We love you Maddy.

One Big Mess

Drew and one of his friends who will remain anoymous (I have waited a while to post this picture so that anoymity would prevail) did this to my pantry. The two of them were upstairs playing and so I choose to feed Gavin up there so I could keep an eye on them. Some time had passed by and I realized I could no longer hear them playing in his room. So I went to investigate. I was calling their names, but they were not answering. As I came down the stairs and into the kitchen, I could hear giggling. I opened the pantry and found this. They had dumped out a thing of tortilla chips, a box of teddy grahams, a bag of cookies, a bag of goldfish and a package of graham crackers. Needless to say, I now have a lock on my pantry.

Class of 2008

I know, I know. I am very behind in my blogging. My brother Jordan was bummed that he didn't make it on my blog with his graduation picture so Jordan this one is for you. Congratulations!!! Jordan is the last of my siblings to graduate. He will be attending ASU in the fall. Go Sun Devils. My girls were very excited to have their picture taken with their Uncle J.

It was hot during the graduation and we could barely see him get his diploma, but afterwards we cooled off during the after party at my dad's house. We had a lot of fun swimming...
Catching up with old friends..My mom and Melody holding Luc.
Eating Pizza and treats...

And just relaxing.

We will miss when you are gone but are excited for you as you head out on your own!!!

Adventures in Provo Part One

We spent two weeks in Utah after the fourth of July. Andrew came home to work but we got to stay and play and play we did. One of the days we went to this indoor bounce place. We stayed for five hours. I think we got our $4 worth. The kids just played and the adults just sat and played games and talked. The kids had so much fun with their cousins. Here are a couple of the pictures from that day.

Drew and Audrey in action.

Madison kept asking me to take a picture of her sliding down all of the slides. I thought this one was the best because she got air.

Beth's Wedding

When I went back to Utah in the summertime, I was able to see my cousin Beth married on July 12th. I seriously can still remember where I was when I found out she was born. (Europe if you are wondering.). The day was so beautiful but the start of their marriage has been a little crazy. After the reception, they ended up in the emergency room. Since then he has struggled with pneumonia. The pneumonia was so bad that he ended up having to have surgery. Poor guy. He is doing better now. We are so happy that everything turned out well for them. Did I mention that she waited for him while he served an LDS mission?

Independence Day 2008

For Mother's Day this year, Andrew suprised the girls and myself with tickets to the Miley Cyrus concert in Utah on the 4th Of July. I was so excited because there is no better place to spend the 4th of July than in Utah. It is amazing all the things that go on during the 4th. Our day started off with Andrew's most hated thing...a parade. I don't know what it is, but most adults hate parades but the kids, they LOVE them. Here is a picture of Maddy and Audrey with their cousins Aubrey and Grace.

Here is Drew enjoying himself with his cousins Ryan and Josh. During this trip Drew and Ryan became inseparable. They are only about three months apart but for the longest time Drew would just give Ryan the cold shoulder. I was so excited they got to be such good buddies during this trip.

Andrew's cousin Eric and his wife had a baby about six weeks AFTER us. Here is Gavin with their daughter Kennedy. Seriously my babies are so little. I'll have what she's having.

After the parade, we went over to Andrew's sister Diana's house for a BBQ. There was a lot of Andrew's extended family there. I was so good to see everyone. Later on that night we grabbed a pizza and headed over to Stadium of Fire where the featured guess was Miley Cyrus. I guess it didn't click that the feature was Miley Cyrus and not Hannah Montana and so she only sang the Miley Cyrus songs. My kids didn't know them as well but they were having a blast dancing their hearts out. We also got to see my niece dance with hundreds of other dancers and the fireworks were amazing. I have never seen a better firework show ever. Drew was mesmerized by them. It was such a fun night.
