Last Friday was the Father and Son's campout in our ward. However, the school had a Daddy/Daughter dance that night. Since Drew is still a little too young, Andrew decided he would go with Maddy. The theme for the night was Hawaiian Hula. So Andrew and Maddy got all dressed up and had a night out just the two of them. Audrey was quite sad that she was not able to go. She tried to hide in the car. It made me sad because I knew she would enjoy some one on one time with Andrew. Next year hopefully the school will do another activity like this that she can attend.
Andrew and Maddy before the dance.
The whole gang.
When Andrew and Maddy got home, she just had this excitement in her eyes. I am so glad that they have a dad who loves to be involved with them. I know it means so much to our kids. Andrew said that he had the best time with Madison. They had dinner, participated in a couple of competitions (Andrew was robbed of his victory as muscle man) and danced. I am glad they had such a great time.

That is so sweet. What a fun memory.
How cute is that! Maddy looks so cute with her dad! Don't worry Audrey! You'll get your chance!
Seriously...does it get any cuter?
Sounds fun, I wish our school did that!
that post is so cute i almost cried!
It seriously gets so hard when they know that one of the siblings is getting one on one time...Brad took Reid on a lunch date last week and Jack was sooo bummed out. Reid however was so thrilled, he kept saying "Daddy's truck."
