Dan's Birthday Celebration

We spent my brother Dan's actual birthday at the Wolf Creek pool and then on the weekend (June 28th) we went to my dad's house for some more swimming. Seriously, my kids can swim ALL DAY LONG. We keep telling them they are fish. However, my girls would prefer the term mermaids. This was the best picture I got of them all day.

How cute is this boy!?!?! I seriously can't get enough of him. He is just a sweet content little boy. Where have the six months gone?

Here is another dashingly handsome boy, my nephew Cole. My dad and Jodi keep saying that he looks like the last James Bond, Daniel Craig.

And here are the best little buddies...Ally and Drew. They are about 9 months apart and they sure do have a good time playing together...well when they are not tired and grumpy.

My Brother Is Engaged

My brother Nick proposed to his girlfriend of five years a week ago today. We are so happy for him. She is such a great girl and fits well into our family. Nick wanted the families to meet and so we went to Newport Beach to have dinner with her family. Andrew was not able to make it because he had family in from Utah. So I left three of the kids at home and Gavin and I hitched a ride with Dan and Krystal. Kendra and her mom were sad that they were not able to meet my other kids. I had told Nick I thought it would be too hectic if I brought all the kids by myself. So when I got there, Kendra mom said to me, "Oh, I wish you had drawn straws so that one of your girls could of come." They are such nice people but I wasn't surprised. Kendra is just so sweet and nice and her family is just the same. They are going to get married next June.
